speaker wireing help

hey guys, my 1970 had no speaker in it or radio so i am installing a radio. my question is can i splice the left and right front speaker wires coming from the radio to one speaker in the dash, or will it sound like crap?

its possible, but i would not reccomend it, reduces sound quality, and really strains the speaker.

i would go with the kick panel speakers.

I would buy an amp and then run your two speakers off that.. it would sound better. then all you would have to work is power. ground. remote wires. then run speaker wires from your amp to speaker

You generally can't bridge the amp on a deck. You can solve this issue however by buying two small speakers and placing them under the dash, then wire accordingly.

my friend did that with a small amp and it sounded alright
