Link to wiring diagrams for sale.

This popped up on my facebook page a minute ago and although I haven't yet tried it it might interest a few folks.

They are offering color prints of wiring diagrams including Chevy and GMC trucks.

Cost is 18 for the smaller print and 30 for the larger one. Plus 9.95 postage.

I did order one for my 71 GMC.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

I clicked on the one for my '52, I hope the sample pic they show is just a general one and not the one they are actually going to send. Since its got a v8, alternator and all the other stuff mine didnt originally come with.

I ordered one for my 71 and it should be here tomorrow. I'll take a photo or two to show the details.

Re: Link to wiring diagrams for sale.

there are all sorts of color wiring diagrams posted in the electrical section for the 60-66 and 67-72 truck
not sure why anyone would spend $18 plus $10 shipping for something that is probably a reprint from this website

not much for wiring on the pre- 60 trucks, pretty much everything wires off the headlight switch and top regulator screw
if you have a radio, heater or electric wipers, it was most likely a dealer addon and wired by that dealer with an inline fuse
rarely do you have the factory 3 fuse panel: it'd have to come factory with all 3 options
these trucks are pretty basic, no fuse box, except 1 fuse for instrument panel lights (C)
look at post #7 in this thread, even back then gm turn signal wire colors followed the newer vehicles
GreasyLikeaBurger's wiring won't be anything near stock, as it's 12v without the generator/regulator

Re: Link to wiring diagrams for sale.

I ordered it because my printer won't print big enough and I do need it on the 71. the 48 will get a wiring kit so it won't need an oem style diagram.

I had a Kinkos or someplace print and laminate one from this site years ago. It was something like $11 back then.

Re: Link to wiring diagrams for sale.

The print of the wiring diagram came yesterday but I was busy chasing down the UPS dude to get a package of medical items for my Cousin's wife and then doing a 70 mile run down to meet them where they were staying to deliver it and get them on the road to Montana.

Total cost of the large one including shipping was 38.80 but I am more than pleased with it and it will end up on my shop wall in due time.

I know this isn't for everyone and it isn't as cheap as a lot of other options but it is out there and their product and service is top rate.
