A/c compressor bolts?

I am trying to put the serpentine setup on my truck. I have an a/c compressor (the flat pancake style) that fits in the bracket but I need to know what the bolts look like to bolt it up 'cuz it looks like it needs a bolt with a long shank but threads only near the head. If you know what I need and can post a pic I would really appreciate it.

Re: A/c compressor bolts?

How oftern does a thread make it all night without a single reply in the Gen Dis forum? wow.

Might try throwing this question into the 88 up discussion board. I'm assuming your serpentine setup came from one of those trucks anyway. If I had one of those trucks right now, I'd go out and pull any bolt you needed. The other thing you might try is a stop into your friendly dealer. Their diagram shows exactly what size and how many thread/inch every bolt on the truck is.

Re: A/c compressor bolts?

My 92' has 3 bolts. 2 are 4-1/2x10mmx14mm head with one side ground off so it will slide past the clutch. the 3rd one is 5-1/2in long so that the brace to the intake will bolt up to it.

Re: A/c compressor bolts?

Why you got some? I checked with the dealer and the junkyard and got nowhere.
