impalass,

I have a nice radio delete for chevy truck (somewhere in my boxes of parts) What I am looking for are several parts. To start with, I would like to find one of those flat filler panels (cowl panel)that is used by Chevy 55-59 when a V-8 is used. The radiator is moved back towards the firewall and a filler panel is used. It bolts to two of the small angle irons that span between the inner fenders, and it lies over the top rear edge of the hood latch cowl. It is a flat panel about 5 inches by 30 inches has raised ribs for reinforcing.

I might have the V8 filler panel in one of my parts trucks. I look and see what I can find. IMPALASS I might be interested in all your spare parts if I could figure out how to get them up to Oregon. What Part of calf are you in?

Do you think the bed sides could be shipped UPS and arrive undamaged? I would be interested in SWB stepside bed panels if they are Western, dent and rust free! What do you think it would cost to ship a pair?
And what was the asking price? And what if anything could we trade for?

Yeah you're probably right. I have my eye on a complete swb stepside bed. I learned from the owner that the original owner had bought the complete bed in 55 or 56 direct form Chevrolet factory because he thought it would be a great way to build a small utility trailer. And that is exactly what it has been since 55 or 56. It is in primo shape, and I need to get back there and try and buy it. rico_bob
