66 327 original parts decode

Can someone help determine if these parts are original and what the numbers on them decode to? They are off my 66 327, TH400, A/C. I'd like to get whatever is original rebuilt so I can get them back on the truck.

Alternator - seems to be original AC Delco
Master cylinder and booster - can't find numbers on the booster
Blue streak coil - looks kind of newer but not sure
Starter - need to clean up still, will there be numbers located on it?
Radiator - Harrison, trans cooler busted inside so the shop that boiled it killed the 2 trans lines. U F R letters on top tank B M on bottom tank. Tag looks to say "DRC".

Re: 66 327 original parts decode

On the alternator, the GM part # is 1100774 55Amp and 7F6 would be July 7, 1966

The coil I believe is an aftermarket replacement. Should be a Delco coil

And the MC and booster look correct for factory applications but let the 66 pros be the answer on those items.

The Harrison radiator would be correct manufacturer....should be a GM part # to correspond with that also. Normally on the upper tank it will be embossed in.

I don't see a trans cooler in that radiator for your TH400. I believe a radiator for a AC truck should be a 4 row core. I can't tell if yours is or not.

As mentioned the shop that boiled the radiator terminated the trans cooler lines because it busted inside and was leaking water into my transmission. And it is a 4 core

Big block? My 327 is original, matching the numbers on the protecto plate. You sure they didn't use these starters on small blocks?

Re: 66 327 original parts decode

In my buddies parts book the part number for 65-69 passenger 396, 409, 427 & 66-69 Chevelle, Camaro, & Nova with 350 & 396 manual trans (1107365 starter is referenced to that nose also).

Online searches show that its actually a pretty rare and desired piece by the corvette and big block car resto guys.

Can't verify it was original to the truck, but the date code is close enough that it may have been. Hard to say with 50 years of age to it.

The master cylinder does not look original with the bleeder screw there. Likely a service replacement part.

The booster is correct. There are no ID numbers on them.

The radiator certainly looks correct. The 1978 GM Truck Parts Books does not list your application (just everything else) so can't match up any of your numbers.

Re: 66 327 original parts decode

from the vin look to be a fremont truck early to mid june build which fits the starter and alternator is it a custom camper? does it still have the spid sheet on the glovebox door. check behind the seat sometimes the buildsheet is hidden there .

Not sure if it's a custom camper. No sticker on glovebox and no sheet in the seat. Here is a pic of it

Re: 66 327 original parts decode

Since it sounds like you are going for a numbers matching complete original restoration, they should have simply replaced the trans cooler in the radiator. Without it, you will have to run an external trans cooler, which definitely is not original equipment. The in radiator trans cooler also helps get the trans fluid up to operating temp quicker than with an external cooler.

Are they date coded? The guy at the radiator shop said that the core didn't look good enough to open up. I'm thinking about putting on a trans cooler for now and searching around for a different Harrison with a good cooler in it.

Re: 66 327 original parts decode

Any good radiator shop can install a new 4 core and replace the bad trans heat exchanger in the bottom tank
