Any blazers here with np440/MY6/A833? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anyone running 1 of these in there blazer? I know they were an option in square bodies. Not a lot of info out there and seems like next to none on 4x4 applications (other than they came with an np208 behind them)...unless I’m looking in the wrong places!

I’ve planned on putting in a nv3500 or nv4500 but there is a np440 with a passenger drop np208 for sale locally. Just curious how the np440 compares to the newer (manual OD) trans options.
