Dot approved

I ordered a small back window from classic parts of America and it didn't have the dot approved # on it. Should I be concerned about this?

Re: Dot approved

I wouldnt be.

Alot of aftermarket parts arent DOT (like headlights, fog lights, mirrors) because they dont want to spend the money to get it certified. That would mean higher costs to consumers.
