Thanks Wes,They are identical to the ones listed in the cheverolet pickup parts inertchange manual on page 170,trailer mirrors 1967-1972.

I got them from a local 67-72 parts guy,I pulled them off the 72 myself, And he told me they were originals.

I have seen them on a couple of trucks since then.

mirrors

Here is a pic from my book, the mirrors I put on my wifes truck are identical.
They are a good quality heavy duty part, not some K-mart fall apart.
I would like to get some for my 69, it has some after market mirrors on it that are big ugly things

From the picture I got on my lap top, it looked like the repros made by CIPA.. Now that Im on my desk top, you are right and I am wrong.. Did everyone hear that? I admitted that I was wrong. I guess its time to get out those glasses!
I wish you could still buy that mirror new! Ive tried and failed.

Dusti... Frenchblue and I just ran across a guy here in Oregon that had several swing out type camper mirrors. I thought they were the Chevy ones as they looked just like the ones on the Custom Camper. The kicker is he only wanted $10 a set! Then when you looked real close, the word "Ford" was on the back of the mirror head.. Bummer. I didnt buy any. I did score a set of cherry hubcaps! Way cool. Also a set of doors for truck Im getting ready to build.

I was cruising the postings and seen this in regards to the stainless steel arms. I purchased a set of those last year from an outfit in Wichita, Ks. ( Truck Stuff on N. Broadway for any locals interested. ) The arms are made by Delbar Products Inc. Perkasie, Pa. zip code 18944. Part # 620C-11, solid stainless steel, no chrome to rust or flake off. I purchased them for the swing out style camper mirrors which I have on my 71 4x4. $18 each. Not sure about other lengths as I asked "Can you match these" and they did it to a " t ". Hope this helps anyone looking to solve rusty or missing mirror arms. Keep On Truckin'

Post Fugly mirrors

These are the mirrors that are on my 69,they have small brakets that bolt to the door and the arms bolt to the brackets, very ugly,I think I will go with some small stock mirrors,it has the screws in the holes were the original mirrors should be.
