if you have friends or relatives in central calif i saw a perfect GMC core support yesterday in a stockton wrecking yard. i looked it over really well and it had no rust anywhere. i would have pulled it myself but the temp was about 100 degrees with no shade or breeze

I may have one in Rapid City,SD, I will check it out for rust next time I'm out at my parts trucks. They are not at my house, they are about 12 miles away. I know I have one from a '72 GMC I parted out, it just depends how rusty it is. I will leave you my phone #'s in P/M... Bryan in SoDak.

well I got it to the house, it has some surface rust on it under the battery,I dont know how deep. I will take it apart and get it sandblasted, then let you know. should have done by end of the week. call me @ 605-381-8575 (cell) or home @605-716-6315...
