The lights in the finders look really good. Love the color on your truck!

Thanks kindly! The 292 still rules the roost :-) Runs like a dream. However, at a recent show I had the hood up and a guy came and looked and said 'where's the other half?' - HA!

Hate to be the Codger, but I like the Before Truck a lot better. Orange, Step Fender Spare, and reliable Rear View Mirrors.
At least you kept the 292, Good Man.
You don't still have those mirrors, do you?

Fair enough. I actually would have kept the cut out for spare tire but my brother was doing the welding and he didn’t want to do it.

Didn’t keep the mirrors. Offered them for free to a few guys around here with these trucks and no one wanted them. I ended up chucking them.

Damn.
A PO put Squarebody mirrors on my '71 Jimmy.
I've been wanting to correct that for 25 years. Guess I'll wait longer...

Lookin' good, Pat.
Someday are you gonna paint the CHEVROLET letters? Maybe in Raccoon Black...

I want to do that eventually. I'll probably do white. The raccoon markings are only visible from the front, so I could get away with it.
