Conversion question

Hello,
I have a 68 C10 long bed with hand lever for the parking brake under the steering wheel. Is it possible to convert it over to the foot pedal? I haven't seen any tutorials and I know it would require some modifications to accomplish such task. Anyone have any suggestions or provide some direction as to where to look.

Thanks

Re: Conversion question

It's been done, there are some threads you can find if you use the search function on the upper right of this page.

Seems like the biggest impediment is that the 67-68 fuse box needs to be moved over to accommodate the footpedal setup. Personally I really prefer the handbrake, especially in an emergency.

Here's a really old thread in which someone describes how to do it (post 11).
