Does anyone know?
I ordered a new instrument cluster for my truck and i got the one with the factory tach. I was told that it would come with a tach harness. Now, will this new harness work with my HEI ignition? I have an after market tach, that plugged right in to my distributor and works great. Every time i buy anything, i am told that it is "plug and play" but can anyone tell me what all is involved ?
Is there anything else that i should buy, and have on hand before doing this? Thanks in advance for your help.

All you need is the wiring it is plug and play in this case.
