CL Find: 250 CI 6cyl Engine from a '70

From our local Craigs List. Not mine, don't know the guy, but for $150 for a complete engine, figured someone here might be interested.

I have 1/2 a dozen and listed them a few times NONE sold at $150.00 with a new carb , They truely are a dime a dozen !

That's not what I wanted to hear. I'm about to pull mine and hoped it was at least worth that. I figured I'll more than likely part it out and scrap the rest.

I listed my 292 and could not even get an offer and I was only asking 200. I just decided to keep it for posterity sake and maybe one day it will find its way back into the truck.

I had a difficult time tryin to sell them for 50 awhile back and they were running and I could demo them/// ended up scrappin for 15 dollars
