67 swb I just picked up

Just picked up this 67 swb that has recently been painted, I'm not fond of the color so it's gonna go to my painter and get a new paint job, gonna go silver with black interior and then I'm swapping it on to the 70 model chassis I'm working on that's porterbuilt equipped. And it will have a 6.0 ls motor as well

Silver and black is over done and sells for terrible prices .We all expect to keep these trucks for ever but come one day it will be sold ,there is absolutely no reason to paint that truck , but it's yours and do as you like silver and black ,Ehhh ! looks like a waste of money to me ?I have to ask what you paid for it ?

As it sits right now I don't care for the color either. But if it was on a completed chassis I might have a different opinion.

Re: 67 swb I just picked up

I gave $3000 for it, I've got my wheels picked out and they will complement the silver well! I'm not much for wild colors, want to paint it something I will like for a long time to come! As I won't be selling this one! This truck came with a 350 motor and th350 tranny, gave it to my buddy as I didn't need it cause I have a 6.0 ls that will be going in!

Do what you want to it......it's your truck! You seem to have good taste and I'm sure it's gonna be damn nice.

I love that Red. I bought a similar truck like yours painted rolling with no drivetrain and its a 2005 mustang silver. I am changing the color also.
