Where to get reproduction seat covers for my 1968 Chevy C10

I have a 1968 Chevy C10 Custom fleetside shortbed. It is factory black with red interior. The bench seat is red but has some sort of black looking hounds tooth insert designs. The seat is the factory seat and interior is also factory.

Does anybody know where I can get a reproduction seat cover for it in the factory design and color?

I would post a pic but I dont know how.

I didn’t realize your 396 swb 68 was also custom trim and black. Our trucks are twins. I’d love to see some pictures. Not sure where to buy it, but that red interior sure is sharp.

Re: Where to get reproduction seat covers for my 1968 Chevy C10

Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that anyone sells a seat cover off the shelf for your truck. Your best bet is what Gigem mentioned, SMS auto fabrics. Don't bother searching their site, just call them and tell them what you need (and maybe send the below pics for ref - and pics of your own interior most importantly - then ask them for samples to confirm side by side - they are a good company) - then, they can build it if they have the cloth insert material (and if they don't have one assembled already). 68 cloth seats are not a common item, but they sure look great, so it's worth the extra trouble to get one made if they don't have it ready. 68 data books don't include actual fabric samples like later data books, but this is the picture and description (in blue at least). Whatever you do, don't say "houndstooth" to SMS... Houndstooth was only available in 71 and 72 on Cheyenne Supers (was listed as Custom Cloth on 71-72 SPIDs), but it wasn't an option in 68. Everybody and their brother makes houndstooth seat covers these days it seems - and they repop red houndstooth nowadays too, even though the factory never made red houndstooth, in any year - so avoid the confusion and refer to it as the Z62 cloth seat cover for a 68 C10. The lower trim base model was all vinyl and the higher trim model (CST) was all vinyl, your trim level was the only one with cloth. Good luck! And don't give up - it will look awesome when you get it done in the original fabric.

Yep mine is a black with red interior 1968 Chevy C10 shortbed Custom fleetside 396 with 400 turbo automatic. Mine however did not come with power brakes or air conditioning like yours did but it does have power steering and front sway bar.
