New From Minnesota

I am starting on the restoration on my 1956 3100 stepside that I brought back from Arizona in 1976. It was formerly a Arizona Highway Dept truck with a 6cyl engine 3 on the tree converted to a 283 and TH350 then blown apart totally rust free. Now its 2021 and I started redoing the chassis with TCI suspension and a 350 bored 0.030 to 355 and added to Gearstar 700r4 with Pontiac rear end with disc brakes. This winter will be spent getting body, fenders etc. ready for paint.

Welcome to this great forum, you will find lots of good information and classifieds here. I always liked the 3100 vintage trucks, that will be a good build. I am in the St Cloud area, what part of Minnesota are in? Thanks Chuck

Re: New From Minnesota

It sounds like a cool rig and you've definitely had it for a while. Got any pictures of what it's like before you started on the restoration? Welcome aboard. Hopefully you can show your progress in a build thread.
