Single stage rattle can paint

Hey everybody. I’ve been hanging around here for a while. I finally bought a 70 C10 a few months ago. I am planning to seam seal the drip rail soon. Does anyone know of a source for single stage paint in a spray can? My truck has the original bronze paint so I am hoping to find someplace that I can give a paint code. Every place I have found that does this has separate base and clear.

It looks like there is only one English Color location in Austin. Some of the locations can do the omni single stage in a spray can.

Re: Single stage rattle can paint

I’ve heard people talk of having it mixed at smaller local shops. Might be worth a phone call or two. I was really surprised how affordable a qt of single stage shopline was at the shop here though. I think it ended up being cheaper than the cans for my firewall, even after the $10 HF gun.

Check your local paint store . We do it at NAPA , price all depends on the amount that can be mixed and the price of the spray can. I used it on my wheels and mirror brackets for the 'Burb.

The painter I work for despises shopline, Only uses when customer wants cheapest he can get and does not care about length of time it will last. One can of House of color to do my firewall was $35. I just used the whole can since it will be no good in 24 hours. Could have done more with it.

I have read a few negative opinions on shopline since picking up that can. I knew nothing about auto paint when I went in there, and just told them I wanted SS to spray my firewall with. It looks great now, hope it holds up well enough (for a firewall)

I used the above…color matched very well. About 20-25 bucks a can.
