1963 T221 - Divorced / Remote T case

Just installed a 205 in place of this one. It needs bearings and seals. Bearing retainers appear to be ok and yokes are serviceable. I would have rebuilt it myself but had the 205 ready to go. Comes with all the brackets EXCEPT for the cross member. 100.00

Re: 1963 T221 - Divorced / Remote T case

I know this is an old thread but I skimmed across it few days ago on another old thread. Wondering if it's still around. I'm running a sm 420 with the t221. My idler shaft is toast, I'm in the process of re machining it. But another case that was running. Might be slightly less tedious. Or if ur up for it the idler shafts the only part I want / need is ur willing to part with that. Thanks

Wow, hows that for timing? I've been looking at it for the past couple of days and thinking how I need to get it out of the garage. Yes I do still have it but am not really looking to part it out.

It's just a 65 k20 292 i6 everything factory. Still got the ho72? Ho52? don't quote me on that. And the d44 closed knuckle just getting ready to swap the body onto the 65 k20 frame. All painted and pretty. Almost to nice for a work truck

Re: 1963 T221 - Divorced / Remote T case

I am planning to. But once I'm back at a computer I will. Till then I have a build thread showing up to where it was as a twd. I have a plethora of pictures. Don't you worry. I tend to get very busy w/ work and post everything in one day.

Do you have the mounting bracket off the sm-420 for the 221 TC. shifter.
This is for my '66 K-10.
Thanks, Dave.........

Re: 1963 T221 - Divorced / Remote T case

Sorry Dave, I don't. I got the truck with a TH400 and a 396 so needless to say it was missing a few things. It had some cobbled up shifter mounted to the underside of the floor and it really never worked. Always had to get underneath and shift it by hand. Hoping to cable shift the 205 that's in it now.
