Crowley Junkyard

I have never been to this junkyard before, but the pictures look really interesting.
Anybody live near enough to drop in there? I'm going to call him this afternoon.

I think I see a BBW cab in the back with what looks like a long pipe sticking out of it.

It's approximately 1 1/2 hours from where I live. If I get time away from work, I might make a trip down there someday. It's even further from Oregon.

Hey Pimpston, didn't mean to get you so upset! Relax! Just because I'm in beautiful and rust free Colorado and you're stuck in rust belt central!

As a matter of fact, I'm in Detroit at least once or twice a year. Maybe I could soften the blow by bringing you something on my next trip to Detroit after I visit this junkyard some time this summer... I'm bringing something to _mg on Tuesday. It would just need to fit in a carry-on.

If I remember right, Sparky, the owner is RJ Cisneros. Somewhere I have his email address. Corresponded with him abour a year ago. Still want to go by there. And yeah, about hour and a half.

Rich is a good honest guy to do business with.. I bought two rust free doors 60-63 from him 8 years ago and took his word. Was amazed to see perfect doors shipped on a Greyhound bus.. I have purchased other stuff from him in the past and he will send ya a free t shirt..

Ive dealt with him when I put more time in on the Stovebolt website and always got good parts. Most parts where about spot on price wise, the harder to find stuff like most places costs a little more.

If this is Rich Sisneros, I have dealt with him before also. Been about 17 or 18 years now but he was a stand up guy and I've heard nothing bad about him. I was thinking he had a website or something now, RJ's truck parts maybe?

This time it's going to be a short trip to meet my family to pick up some things that my Dad left me when he passed, including some of his tools. We're importing their old second car for my high school daughter to use so I'll be driving back to Denver in it with my Mom.
