Anyone going to the Carlisle truck show

Just made reservations at the Radisson in Camp hill about 30 minutes from the fair grounds if your a VIP member of Priceline the price is $55 a night. Heading out Thursday the 6th.

I'll probably be up Saturday morning early. Got too much time off already on the books to come Friday like I usually do.

I will be going, but I was unable to secure my spaces last fall before the deadline, nor since. so this marks the end of an era for me. I felt like B17-19 were mine, my second home. Also, I lost my contacts along with my phone last fall. So anyone who hasn't heard from me since that time should shoot me a text with your number or leave a message... or PM me here. It's been an odd year but mine began in the last 1/4 of '19. So winter was a struggle, then the virus affecting my job load. A whole lotta whammies going on, but I'll dig out of it... as always. I'm still young!!!

I hope to see all my friends. It's going to be strange not being where I can be found. Makes me sad thinking about it

Were you able to procure a site? I just got my renewal for the spring of 2021.

I'll probably be hanging with Jimer64 and Jeffs Bowties spots in the lower row. Might only be there Saturday if I ride up in my friend's '58 Reo. I'll bring a few things including your wheels. I may run up earlier in my '95 Suburban. This year has been very different

Check with Carlisle Events. They hand out a show guide at every show, which includes a vendor list. I would imagine that info is available through them prior to the show... since the spaces have to be paid for 9 stinking months before the show!!! ARGH!!! (A ridiculous way to play with vendor's money) Never know when a major catastrophe might occur that far in advance, like a pandemic.

Cargo doors are awesome. I'm still home. I will go up later tomorrow or early Friday. An off year for me to be sure. My instinct kept telling me I'm screwing up not loading the trucks and heading up to be ready at sun-up tomorrow. No point with no vending space

Got my sticker for the truck. Figured the office would be less crowded today than tomorrow morning. Only a couple of people there and not much in the grounds. I'm at the hotel now having a cold one. Not many people here either . I can keep an eye on the burban from my room

I came home to a torrential downpour about an hour ago, down here. Looks like it will hit up there this evening and night. Tomorrow looks good. It just did stop so I'm going out to prep the war wagon, leaving early am. See you there, Mark

EDIT: When I went out to pack I looked at the rain gauge thinking it could have been an inch of rain in that hour. It was 2"!
