$2800??? Thats crazy! I have always made a road trip out of it, twice the fun and a fraction of the price.

I would love to own it. If I bring another one home and I will be living in it. That would look great sitting next to my other Jimmy. Lottery drawing tonight. I'm just dreaming.

Would you consider a trade for a very clean '99 Tahoe 2dr 2wd? Lowered, 20's, red with tan int.?

I have always thought it would be cool to have a 2wd blazer of every bodystyle but unfortunately I am selling this one because I am out of space so I'm not in a good spot for trades.

Thanks for the luck. I'm going to try to take it to Long Beach and Pomona Swaps this month if you want to check it out in person. Not too bad of a drive up.

Considering there was ONLY 985 2wd Blazers made in 1970.
(1st year for the 2wd's) & considering that GMC production
numbers are thought to be about 1/10 of Chevrolets. (IIRC
the records were lost in a fire, or so we have been told) It
would appear that this is the Holy Grail of 2wd's out there.
The question remains as to WHY you still own this thing
I would harvest my left (you know what) for this thing

I have thought about the numbers on this Jimmy too. If it were a Chevelle or Camaro its rarety would be more interesting for sure and very valuable. The door sticker is dated 10/69 so it would seem a very early 2wd.
I have been enjoying weekend driving lately so I don't mind waiting for the right buyer. If it starts raining I will probably get more anxious.

Did I mention the original key works the ignition. both doors, and the top handle?? I have never seen the hatch still keyed with the ignition, thought that was cool.
