Description: Up for sale is my 70 SWB Fleet Side Custom Deluxe. I bought this truck a while ago and have been hanging on to it for a clean slate new project but I am in the middle of a Chevelle build that is getting rediculous and I figure it will be a while before I do something with this truck. It is rolling chassis non a/c truck came with upper and lower trim, the owner I rescued it from had sanded it and primed it in full rookie mode just wiped over the upper and lower trim holes. The truck is very straight and appears to have very little filler in it. The cab drip welds, firewall cowl, bed arches are all rust free along with all solid cab supports etc. The rockers have been replaced before but appears to have original cab corners. The right front fender was wrinkled and I have another very nice fender that goes with it. This truck really does deserve a nice build it is really too solid to be parted out but I fell that I could get the asking price or more if I did. The bed is very nice with only some pitting and a couple of small pinholes in the floor not beat up at all and the bedsides are great, doors as well smooth no rust anywhere on them. The tailgate is original, not bowed bad and has one small workable dent. I have no idea what gears are in the rear diff or if it has a posi never checked. It has been stored in a barn since purchasing it. The inner fenders and all are there along with radiator support and grill (bad) 6 lug wide rallys.
This would be a nice truck to start a build with that once it is sanded or you get it back from the blaster it wont put a frown on your face!
call or e mail me with any questions, I also have a 330 hp GM crate engine that I am selling as well if interested in a package deal let me know.
Dwayne.
