Question for all you bagged guys who either rub bad when layed out, or lay frame when layed out. What do you do if you lose air completely??? How do you look under the truck, how do you tow it? What do you do??

One of the reasons i didnt go as low as if i did lose air i would want to still be able to drive home. If you come up with a good response, that might give me the reason to porterbuilt the front end on this thing.

I made my 56 Belair so it almost touches the ground, and still be able drive it. Unless you keep extra parts. If the air bags are installed correctly and doesn't rub on anything, along with the air lines the only trouble would be the electrical. That's why I like to have at least 2 compressors.

BTW, NICE TRUCK

Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's

Even if you blow a bag you can lift it up with 3 enough to limp home or at least off the road... If you set it up right and have control over each bag... Not the case if you try to run one valve for the front and one for the rear...

you could keep a couple push to connect fittings that accept shrader valves. if you lose a compressor or valve or have a massive leak...somehow. just take the DOT loose and press one of those on and air up with a compressor that plugs into a cig lighter. chances of an airbag system failing are low if its done right. bags will last as long as they arent rubbed or over inflated or dry rotted. porterbuilt is the way to go.

I have that. But i may be missing something. How the heck do you get UNDER the truck if that was to happen?? I guess all 4 wouldnt drop unless you lost your air tank or something>???

Your valves keep the air in your bags, I could unhook my tank once the trucks up... So yea you would have to have a lot of stuff go wrong to have something cause it to drop...
