Baller,

What is the plan for those wheels you have when your done?

p8ntballer1911 12-31-2008 02:09 PM

Re: How about some pics of bagged C-10's

It really just depends on if I can afford billet wheels at that time... More then likely I will end up sticking with the bosses for awile.

I was a dealer for them. Let me know when you can afford them. I'll see if I can still get a deal on them. There prices went up the past few years.

Here's my 56 Chevy I used to own. I had 18" & 20" Twisted Vista's on it. Man I miss that car after owning it for 23 years. BTW, I installed fast bags on it. F-B-S-S

Nice '56!!
I was in love with the Vistas myself, until I priced them, so I fell in love with Coy's C5s instead. ;)

I'll check, and get back to you. If we order them, we need an exact back spacing measurement. It has to be correct because if not they will charge you to re hoop them. Plus shipping.

It's C10addicts truck that had the dodge ram spares...He said he ended up going another route because they wouldn't work with his plans for the stepside. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1229013248

Summit Racing will have them soon... They are not cheap... 18"s are almost $300.00 each.. and at this time they only come 6" wide.....

Well that's kinda crap. I would say these would be good alternative wheels if it wasn't for the price and limited width. What are the specs of the Dodge spares? Size, width, price? I like 'em for their simplicity.

They are 20"s.... I forget the width... Check e-bay... Prices are from $200.00 to $400.00 for a set of 4... I say give it time and the big steel wheels will be more popular...

Thanks for the kind words!

c10addict: The truck was originally a LWB. I swapped it onto a '63 SWB frame and cut down the bedsides. The front is Z'd 3" with an '87 front crossmember, stock upper/lower a-arms, 3" drop spindles, and slam spec. bags. The rear is a simple 2-link using trailing arms that I made and also runs slam spec. bags.

isdeleon: It's just white primer with some hot rod flatz met. burgandy fogged along the rocker and on the roof. It was just something we did real quick before the Santa Maria (formerly Paso Robles) show. We only had time to get one side done, one bedside still had tack welds and cut marks up the side! My friend and I are finishing up that bedside right now.

BTW, I love the Radirs! That's what I wanted to run, but my supremes were given to me as a wedding present! (I've got some good friends!)
