Pictures would be very helpful. Do you know if you have a Rockwell or New Process 205 transfer case? I have shifters for both. Glad to help if I can, Sharpie

I'm guessing he has a rockwell by what he is describing and what parts are left in my 69 with the rockwell.

it sounds like it is a rockwell but didn't gm switch from a rockwell (69) to np205 in 1970 also rockwell were all manual trans.

Re: wtb 4x4 shifter handle and box assembly.

1970 np205 shifters are different from 71-72 np205 shifters. There is also 2 different styles of 70' np205 shifters. The one that points off to the left is more setup for a stick so they don't hit, and the automatic 70' is the one attached to the transfer case. ***Note, I have the wrong manual shifter in the pic, and is misleading on how they would hit each other. Here ya go:

Re: wtb 4x4 shifter handle and box assembly.

I also forgot to mention that if wanting to be correct on a 70' np205, you will need the correct high humps, the holes are cut differently for the np205 shifter in 70' as the shifters are bent more at the base to allow the transfer case shifter to line up centered with (if manual) the manual shifter hole. The 71-72 np205's are more offset to the passenger side of the hump. Trevor

Here is a couple of pics of a Dana 20 setup, typically found in blazer's in 69, and not sure if they came a in a select number of 70's. Trevor
