Temp sending unit

Call me crazy but I’ve owned my truck for over a year and the temp gauge has barely moved off cold. After reading on this forum how to troubleshoot to see if it was the gauge or sending unit. I found the the sending unit was indeed bad. So I just replaced it with a new one that I ordered online from Lectric Limited and am happy to say my gauge is working properly and want to say how thankful I am that everyone shares this information for everyone to use.

by chance are you using the 1967-68 UPPER radiator hose that goes straight out here is the hose number #3598556TH GM/AU plus they make the upper thermostat housing here are the pics of the unit and the hose and the housing this only works if you have a Edelbrock ALUM INTAKE MANIFOLD
