Disc brake swap

Ok I have a donor 81 chev 1/2 ton truck. to swap to a 69 I take everything off the front of the 80 and put on the 69? upperand lower a frames, drag links cross member and all. Right? Someone said something about drilling new holes for something? where? Thanks

Bulldog, I did a disc brake swap on a 68 about a year ago.The parts truck was a 79. I left the stock A-arms and put 79 ball joints on them.(the studs are longer on the newer ball joints because the spindles are thicker)
Then I used the spindles, tie rod ends, and center link from the 79. I didn't have to change the pitman arm or the idler arm.
Hope this helps.
