I just bought an '84 C10 SWB and am looking at lowering it. I have been looking at Kits like 3/5, 4/6 and 5/7, and air bags. If anyone has pics of these would you please post 'em up! and tell how much of a drop it is..

Hey Scoti, what size wheels are you running? 18's and 20's? that is pretty much the exact drop i'm looking for...has anyone here heard of buying bags and installing them and driving on them while your saving up for the compressor and lines etc...??

Yes.... 18's & 20's.
Yes... I drove my 68 beater w/manually filled rear bags for over a year w/o problems. If you were to do the same on the front, I would simply check air pressure once a week until your comfortable there's no leak-down, & then on a routine schedule.
