Wiper motor or 65 C10

Seems the switch is missing from the back of the turn knob.

I am going to just wire up a toggle switch so I can get it working, so I can have wipers when Im driving in the rain.

The wires going to the wiper motor are Yellow and Blue. Which one is the ground and which one is the power, so I know which ones to tap into for the toggle switch.

Was out working on it right now, but didnt want to test it out without knowing.

Thanks,
John

Single speed wiper? Yellow is power. Blue is grounded at the switch to turn it on. Note that the motor must also be grounded through its mounting, or else it won't park.

Yeah Im pretty sure its the single speed. Now I just gotta figure out which is which on the toggle switch, as it isnt marked(the package it was in wasnt ethier).

I will look to see if its grounded aside from those wires.

Thanks,
John

Does anyone have a pictures of the switch and wires that go onto the back of the turn switch and go from that to the motor?

The toggle switch doesn't care which terminal is grounded. Just connect the blue wire to either terminal and run a wire from the other terminal to ground.

The stock rotary switch only has one terminal. It is internally grounded through its mounting.

Ok, thanks man.

I will get it done and post up after I do.

I just got another fan belt and need to change that also.

Thanks.

I just did a quick job on it to make sure it was going to work the way I wanted. This weekend, Im going to do it again and make the wiring look better.
