Long water pump in 55 (2nd series)
Folks,
I cant remember if this has been posted, but need some info. I have long water pump and want to ensure no problem withe stock rediator...I think there is no problem - anyone with experience? |

As long as it is not a reverse flow pump you should be okay.

Here is my 350 in stock location with a long water pump. This is with the radiator in the stock 6 cylinder location. It is a big truck radiator which is 1" thicker than 1/2-3/4 ton units. If your radiator is a factory V8 setup it will be closer to the engine and you may have problems.
