What fuel filter should I use?

making plans to build my fuel system. I have a in tank pump. Ill be putting a inline filter on the frame rail. What micron filter should I use? and should I put more than one filter (of different micron) in the line?

Do you have a return on your fuel system?....if not you can use a vett filter/regulator....

Sorry should have clarified that. Yes I do have a return line. I have a 4.8 from a 2000 Silverado.

Gm fuel filter gf481 works fine. I bent my own steel lines and used my mastercool hydraulic flaring tool and made the o ring ends needed for the gf481. Gm used this filter for many years on various styles of fuel injection.
