Ignition switch

Looking for suggestions on an ignition switch for my 68 C-10. The original I have is a little wonky, and after purchasing a non-original, I couldn't get it to work at all when installed. thank you!

We need more to go on. Is the replacement switch a new one?
No power whatsoever in ACC, Ignition, or Start?
Do battery, (constant power), items work? Headlights, tail lights, brake lights, flashers, etc?

The original switch works, but occasionally there does not seem to be electrical contact through it. The new one I bought installs into the housing, but will not turn with the key - I'd like to find an original ideally to replace mine - if that helps (with the supplied key) it seems to be junk from the get go..

OK, sorry, you're looking for a different switch. The few that I have bought in the past I always get from my local AutoZone/Checker/O'Reilly, etc.

Not sure if there are any NOS out there or even Delcos.

It may be the contacts inside are dirty or have been arcing and need polished. The switches aren't too difficult to tear apart and clean up. I have had issues with repops (See link below)
You might send a PM to Classic Bowties here and see if he has a good used one. Mel is local in Portland.
Also Ram light truck wrecking had one last winter.

Good luck neighbor!
