Sometimes I start working and forget to check stuff along the way. Today was one of those days...
New shocks with some tabs I ordered awhile back:

I trimmed the back of the crossmember

Ground a grove in the seam and welded it up:

Problem was that they hit the upper control arm....ugh
So I cut them off, cleaned them up, and redid everything again....

Here is my next problem. Control arm shaft hits the crossmember.

I know I have one shim in and will problem need more but I figured I'd grind back the crossmember a hair so I could adjust them if needed.
Tomorrow I will clean and paint up all the paint I removed.
