Thanks for the links! --- Yea thats kinda what I was thinking and we have all that available for our v-drive boat stuff using some pretty nice steel types. All the cav-plate rods are 1/2" dia. material and I can use some of those bearings from it. The frame already has a hole in it so Ill just have to cut the floor up a bit and make the pedal work on the end of that new shaft location.
The wilwood idea was to make the brake pedal assembly part of the cab instead of part of the frame. I guess that one will have to go back to the drawing board at some point or just use some better materials. I have a meeting with my machinist friend today, so we will see what he thinks.
