Sorry to bring up an old thread...

I'm about to install Belltech 3" drop spindles. Stock 15x6 wheels.

I noticed in this thread that the bump stops are cut off. Following this article in HR Mag, they left the bump stops.

I installed Moog 6454 with one coil cut off. It brought the front down 1.5", and it looks like there is still adequate bump stop clearance.

For the guys that cut off the bumpstops, did you put anything else there, or leave them off? I'm thinking about trimming it off, then mounting a bolt-on bump stop.

This is on a squarebody...
