Yes, turned the shafts 180deg and drilled a 5/8" hole a little over 1/8" deep. The locating pin measures right at 5/8" so I had to wallow the hole out a hair so the shaft would seat correctly. There is only one locator pin per side and I drilled 2" from the shaft shoulder. 73+ shafts are different take a look here:
