They did make it look really consistent with the rest of the building. Good guys that know what they are doing.

That would give more protection. I was going for lazy and convenient.
The metal pulled from the doors had an overlap that was never painted nor exposed to the elements. The zinc looks nearly new even though it is 50 years old.
So the overlap is by the back door and I decided to not paint it, showing what the building looked like when new. Kind of like the strip of bricks on the start finish line at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
