Why is it that nothing ever just fits? We buy (and pay for it) it to fit - but there is always "some assembly required". IE it does NOT just fit - or the instructions are written by someone with a crayon and no practical sense of order or direction. The exception I would say in my experience has been Lokar - they should be the goal other manufacturers shoot for.

Really nice work and good ideas with the mounting plates! I feel your pain on parts fitting Mike. Most in the industry have greatly improved over the years and there is still room for improvement.
