transfer case
I have a 82 pickup with a 350 4 bolt main. It also has a overdrive tranny. Does it matter what type of transfer case I use. I have to replace it and I am debating on getting it rebuilt or taking a chance and buying a used one. What would be the best bet?

it depends on what transfer case you have if you want to rebuild. if you can find a transfer case that will bolt up to your tranny and is cheaper compared to rebuilding the existing then that would be an idea to consider.

you will need to find the exact same TC... most of the time they don't swap...
