Rear Notch

This question for you guys who have put a notch in the rear on your truck. How much of a notch can I put in and still run to lay the running boards on the ground and the floor of the bed be the same height in maybe an inch higher? Just like TYLERDURBEN did on his '50 GMC

And where can I buy one or make one.

Re: Rear Notch

I'm thinking that your going to have to give something up. I don't think if your laying running board with your wheel combo you can have the bed floor in the same spot.

Re: Rear Notch

Ya its going to be a little tough but I think it is doable my 20" tire is with a 1/3" of an inch taller than the WW most guys put on there AD trucks and they are still laying floor boards and have a floor bed. The floor bed is lifted about 2" so it still will look stock

Re: Rear Notch

did you say you had a 255/35/20 tire? if so it isnt going to happen. My bed floor is raised and I still have a hole.
