Tailgate badge help on my 70 suburban - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 1970 suburban and It came with various holes in the back tailgate. I know the top right says Chevrolet and have already replaced it. Anybody know what goes under it on the right lower side? Also what goes on the left side where the two holes are. I have done various google searches of suburbans and have had no luck. I have also been on LMC truck and year one with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

None of the other holes are factory. Maybe a dealer put a logo plate on it. I have a couple of them that are chromed pot metal with studs on the back of them.

I'd also say it was a dealer plate. I was a young man when ,the dealer I worked, transitioned from those metal plates to stickers

So the only emblem that came from the factory was the CHEVROLET emblem. That sucks now I have to fill holes and find a color that matches what the previous owner painted!

Mea Culpa Leon. I started it and I apologize for any hurt feelings and for the hijack of the thread.

juddss, I'v often thought that you could use JB-weld and small pieces of thin sheet metal mounted to the rear side of the hole. If you use very little JB-weld you can spot paint the front and hide it pretty well.
