Rally Wheel Trim Rings

I have two sets...wondering which one is preferred
One had silicone dabbed on each retainer?

I'm not positive but the rings on the left in your pic look like repops to me, the others OEM.

that's what I was wondering...I've heard of some aftermarket rings that slip when driving....one member was saying that they moved enough on his to push the valve stem over...

Both types can be correct. Depends on the model year.

silicone/rtv sealant is used to hold them in position and to absorb vibrations.
