Isn't kinda weird how you associate people on here by their avatar's. I have been monkeyin around with mine ever since CG's contest. I see my own avatar and don't recognize it.
I think my eye goes to the avatar instead of the persons board name. I know when long time members that I like to follow change theirs it is almost like they are somebody different.......Is that just me ?

Re: Avatar
Nope, not just you. Sometimes when an avatar has been changed, I stop & scratch my head.... have to figure out who it is!

Re: Avatar
I remember the first time I saw Tx Firefighter real picture. I was like, no way that's him. I was so used to seeing his avatar pic, that's who I associated him with (yes I realize his pic is an actor lol).

Re: Avatar
I have kept mine the same for these reasons. I changed it once and it was so odd, and I got many comments/questions on it. So I changed it back. Now I can't find that picture anywhere on the internet and I like it a lot. I don't want to lose it

Re: Avatar
Mine is the same on a few forums with slight variations on my username because of site rules (no spaces, underscore, with and without the 3)
I just keep the avatar the same so ppl figure it out if they know me from different communities.

Re: Avatar
I've changed mine a bunch of times.
Back when this place was rockin' I used to put up a different snoopy one for halloween, thanksgiving, and Christmas. Most of the time it's just a new/different pic of the C10.

Re: Avatar
I used to change mine once in a while, but I have become identified locally with the blue Longhorn, so I just decided to leave it here.

Re: Avatar
The problem with that is we have two Larrys with 2-tone Chevy avatars the same color! I have to look at your signature to know who is who*. I guess you have the other 2-tone blue/white Chevy. I enjoy your signatures, but that's another thread.
*Not really
