Does a wonderful job with Truck of the Month I have seen other members volunteer to help on the main page But nobody from the site ever responds to those comments As far as I’m concerned this site, and all the people I meet from it are great But Many people have left for other social media I have tried that too, but I like the format of a forum, where there is feedback and open conversation to a thread. I think it makes for better camaraderie. And I totally agree with Advance Design I post a lot of pics, but it is Slow and cumbersome compared to other social media |

As for pictures I get it. However facebook, ig etc have way more resource for upload than most any forum. There is no way to compare the two. Do you use an ipad or? Curious about the 1 upload deal |

Newer devices take large pics. I've always had to reduce my pic sizes for posts. Something that automatically reduces photo sizes down like facespace uses would be awesome. Like, for my huge renovation thread, when I have a lot of pics, I usually put them on facespace then pull them from there to post here as they've been automatically reduced.

Unsuccessful in trying to upload two pictures from IPad on LS1Tech. Couldn’t upload one photo from the IPad either. I agree with Chevyland, FB is easy for uploads and I too prefer this format for discussion and builds. It lends more solidity and continuity.

Re: WDYWOOTW the 2018 edition
ahh security tokens are evil I have no idea on the iphone issues.. I will try to find out and see what we can do. I don't use i phone, ipad etc so its all foreign to me. Im not above trying to find a solution .
as for the difference between social media sites and ours is pretty much like walmart vs the family owned corner store. AD thanks for trying over there. I have no idea why I didnt think to do that using her ipad lol.. |

Re: WDYWOOTW the 2018 edition
I don't know why people seem to use one OR the other. Why not some of both? FB is TOO fluid. It's just a bunch of one line momentary blab to me, and often goes back to what's already been said over and over already, like no one reads, just post. On forums it's all there to be found later if need be. You come back the next day and a thread is still there, even if it's a page or two back. And, this forum's divided up into specific segments

Re: WDYWOOTW the 2018 edition
I'd really like to see seperate sub sections for 47 to 55.1 and 55.2 to 59.

Re: WDYWOOTW the 2018 edition
That's weird about the iPad photos, I can upload more than 1 pic per post. Most of my posts and pics are done from my iPad. Granted it's still a pain, but you have to upload 1 pic, add another and upload it, add another and upload it. But you don't have to have a separate post just to add another photo. Hope that makes sense. It would be easier to do, as if you were on a computer.
So to add to this, It would nice to have the ability to add short videos.

Re: WDYWOOTW the 2018 edition
I agree. Bummer to have to read way into posts just to find out what truck they are working on. Glad to help when I can but these groups share too little compatibility IMO.

Re: WDYWOOTW the 2018 edition
That's how Craigslist is. I post one at a time, then go back to edit each on in separately. And that is from my laptop. I used to have to do what TKCR said from my laptop here. I can't post videos from my folders at all. That security token thing. Hey, I'm not security threat! Gimme my token
