'06 Keeps pop'n front CV's !!!!

What's up there fellas.....I'm a frequent flyer on the 60-66.....but this questions here is for my buddy and his '06 Chevy 2500 4x4.

Recently, I installed a Pro-comp 6" lift and 35' tires on 20" rims.

He moderately wheels this thing, in fact, so far it's only been behind these commercial buildings on some open fields with a few inclines.

He couldn't get traction to climb these weeny hills, so I recommended he pick up some air-lockers....After some research at a local 4wParts trade show, the ARB rep informed us that only the front was available at the time.

So, he opted for the front only. One night, he got the front end up a little, when it came down, he pop the R/F cv, and bent the S#it out of the outer tie-rod.

This last weekend, I went to his house (he lives 2hrs away), and spent the night.

He said "lets go wheeling".....we went out to the same area, he barely turned the wheel to turn up up this hill, and "POP!!" the Cv broke again !!!

I was like "I cant beleive these front ends are sooo weak !!"

I know the straight axle is the way to go, but come on, are they that weak ???

Now for my question.....Do they make stronger Axle shafts for these ??

Sorry for such a long story, but I just make fun of him all the time about his BIg BAD CHEVY !!!
