Allan, have you considered useing SS compression fittings rather than flare fittings?. They aren't cheap (and they are a bit more bulky) but they are WAY easier to work with if you want the lines to follow an exact path IMO. They are also more reliable. Here's a pic of a fuel delivery I made up for my intake with 3/8"SS and compression fittings. The little entry pipe is a temp. I will be making a complete hard line to the pump once it's all installed.
