Pas Dually
I have a 1987 GMC Dually, 454, 4 speed, 4-10's. It is great to find a site where there are other 1 Ton people. The 87 I have seem's rare as I haven't been able to find a lot of trucks like it. Would like to see other trucks like mine as I am getting to paint in the spring and would like some ideas. If there are any 1 Ton clubs could someone drop me an address.

Pas Dually. I guess this thread is the closest thing to a Dually club that I know of! I guess maybe we should all start one. Our slogan could be "If it ain't got 6 wheels, it ain't Sheyot!!"

pas dually that does sound like a rare truck you have there. i am sure that someone can help you out with posting pictures of it on here. look forward to seeing it.welcome to the board also from VA! pas dually also fill out the rest of your profile and let us know where you are. might be neighbors!..........67_c30 i stand corrected! i can now see the pictures of that last truck you posted. for some reason yesterday i got blurred images of it. it does look nice. i also noticed that you have in your listing of cars and trucks that you have a '71 Pontiac GT-37, 455H.O.isn't that a t-37 not gt-37?that is a nice car! are you restoring it? you should as there are alot of parts out there for it through Ames pontiac. as for a seperate club for 1 tons, well as you guys can see, we now have a sticky! thanks to all that have posted and to n2trux for helping us out on that! as for the rest of us out there, now is the time to "keep um comin"! post them 1 tons!

http://www.gtoalley.com/gt37.html as for the 1 ton club we could be on to something here. we could maybe ask josh to make a new link for 1 tons. just like the picture link and the engine and drivetrain link. that way we could get everybody in 1 spot. just a thought.... i guess we will see what happens.

1988 V-30
That pic was taken in Sept.1980. In those days I usually bought a new pickup every other year. A friend down the road had bought my 77 I had gotten in the fall of 76 from me in Sept.78 and I was waiting for the new owner of my 79 to show up for delivery in that pic. He never showed up! I kept the 79 truck longer than most. I have never had to trade a pickup in as I always find a buyer for the old one. That sure helped in those days. I currently have a 1988 V-30 that I have held on to! Please forgive the terrible pics as I'm still learning how to post them!

Thanks guys. All 3 of them had the 400/400 setup. The Colonial Yellow 77 had 4.10 gears and the 79/80 trucks had 3.73's. The 77 remained as a full time 203/4wd. The 79 I installed an S.A.E. Part Time conversion with Husky Selectro hubs. The 1980 was equipped with a 205 and Spicer Lockouts. I ordered all 3 with 7.50-16 tube type tires,(they came standard with 16.5), inside bed spare carrier,(I used the Jackman Grill Guard on the 77,then 79 to carry the spare since I used to haul a camper and pull a horse trailer), and the 77/79 both had wood floor beds. The 88 I still own is a 454/400/205 with 3.73 gear.

I'd be interested in the transmission. I'm in Alabama, so driving up there would be no problem. What do you wnat for it?

Here's a couple shots of my dad's 86 it has a ZZ 502 and a four speed I redid the whole truck six years ago and it's still holding up fairly well even though he does'nt look after it very well. The wiring is a mess, so I'm fixing that right now and it also needs a mjor cleaning and a tune-up I'll post pics better pics when the snow melts and I have it all cleaned up.
