a couple years back a guy had a rust free blazer tub at one of the Carlise shows. It sold for I believe $2000.That seems to be the going rate.Offer him $1500 and go from there.

hmm I didnt know it would be that much!
seems like one could buy a whole Blazer/ Jimmy for that price.
But if thats the going rate I guess thats what you would have to pay

I dont remeber when the last time I saw one for sale. They seem to have all migrated to the warmer weather states. Around here I could really see paying $2000 for a rolling tub just becaue you wouldnt have any other options. Its like 67-69 camaros. You pay $3000 for a shell any more.

I did see a 66 Nova body , rear subframe and trunk lid ( thats it! No front clip , interior or front subframe or suspension other than rear axle ) in the junkyard the other day. They ONLY wanted $500 and it was in halfway decent shape other than there was no glass and it was full of garbage. I might just buy it.

arond here, any blazer is worth $1000, and for one with a straght tub, probably at least 2x that.

I can think of at least ten blazers within the seattle city limits that are unrestored and in restorable shape, that just sit. I feel sorry for all you rust belt guys. I'll go take pictures if no one believes me.

I can think of quite a few too that just sit there too. That doesnt mean you can buy them. I know of one that been sitting, oh maybe 15 years . Every time I see the guy I ask if he wants to sell it. Same thing every time. " Oh no, I dont think so. My son and I are going to restore it someday " I know of a bunch of classic cars that are rusting into the ground like that. They'll NEVER have anything done to them until the old guys who own them croak and they get hauled off to the crusher. Tell you what if you know of any non running but solid pre '73 blazers in the Seattle area for $500 or so I will hand the cash over RIGHT NOW . I dont care if they have moss growing all over them. If I can haul it off on its own tires I'll take it.

I dont understand why people make trailers out of short beds? And you dont find swb trucks in the yards either?
