Re: Check out this '72
Wow that is nice! If you don't mind me asking, just how much does it cost to build , maintain and race a truck like that? The government , I am sure is the big factor with all the environmental costs of building a course to enjoy a sport such as this. The endangered micro-organisms must cost a fortune to protect. Let alone all the do gooders!!!!!!! The amount of wasted energy must turn al gore over on his tour bus.

Re: Check out this '72
Hum, The Al Gore comment must have offended every one. I was watching a video that was to save the world, when Al said his tour bus was equipped with a Detroit vintage 8V92! Nice 2 cycle diesel, but very inefficient. 1960 vintage fuel pucker. I have friends who stood on top of these motors while Cambodians shot 50 cal holes in the blocks. The best part was the foot on the governor. They didn't lose a leg to a rod through the block at 6k RPM

Re: Check out this '72
How much are you wanting for it? I've got a buddy with an E-Maxx and I love it but the wife doesn't love the price tag. At least she lets me spend money on my 70.

Re: Check out this '72
NPLOCOMAN, its the same shade of blue on the entire truck.
My other rig started life as a Duratrax Nitro quake (boring when you have a Tmaxx). A buddy gave it to me and I turned it into a highly modified Axis on roids. I Added smaller wheels and tires, 2 speed tranny with reverse, added electric start, changed both differential gears and added this body. It really is a blast to run and is MUCH faster than the tmaxx, its scary fast. They are fun but if you run them hard you have to work on them when your finished, but they do take a tremendous amount of punishment though. I got about $100 bucks in this one. Jeff

Re: Check out this '72
shes got a fight on her hands thats what happens! She actually HATES these things. When she gets ahold of the smaller ones, starts foaming at the mouth, and whips it around by the wheels.
