Re: Have A Question

You need to keep it or you will end up with an opening inside the fender well.

I'm going to keep it I was just wondering if anybody took it out to make sure it gets totally cleaned of rust and then painted and reinstalled.
Mine had a rubber gasket stapled between them and the fender.

Re: Have A Question

Hello Kim,

I removed mine for cleaning and I'm going to use some small stainless steel flat Allen wrench bolts to replace the rivets. You could also weld it and place.

I done that on my brothers old truck. The way I did it on my brothers truck was to take a screw (that fits tight in the hole) feed it through from the inside, cut off the excess and weld it on the outside and grind it flush. I like it

I'm going for the monochrome look. The only chrome will be on the tail lights and head lights.
